Michael has been awarded the Hurst - Jaws of Life - Green Cross . Michael transferred membership to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and has completed his educational curriculum and training to obtain certification as a NREMT-B.

Michael has been awarded the Hurst - Jaws of Life - Green Cross for vehicle extrication acts on December 17, 2011.
