Steven currently holds the positions of Chief and Fire Recorder. In the past, He has held the positions of 1st Assistant Chief, 2nd Assistant Chief, Captain, DVFA Alternate Delegate, DVFA Delegate, Deputy Chief, Training Officer, and Vice President. He also serves on the Entertainment, Membership, Accident Investigation & Evaluation, and Truck Acquisition committees. He also has been awarded the DE State Fire Chiefs Association President, DE State Fire Chiefs Association President, IR Chief's Award, Hurst - Jaws of Life - Green Cross , Sussex County Volunteer Firefighters Association President, IR Incident Top Responder, Hurst - Jaws of Life - Green Cross , IR Incident Top Responder, Sussex County Fire Chiefs Association President, IR Incident Top Responder, IR Firefighter of the Year, and IR Firefighter of the Year awards.
