Indian River’s Annual Fund Drive Commences in August!

As a valued member and/or entity of our community, we are reaching out to you to share an important message.  

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company has proudly served its fire district for over 72 years, providing emergency services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year with 100% volunteer personnel.  Our mission has always been to protect and safeguard the lives and property of our neighbors, and we are deeply committed to maintaining the highest level of protection and care.

However, the ever-increasing demands on our services as well as the rising costs of maintaining and upgrading our equipment have made it more challenging to keep up with our essential needs.  This is why we have commenced with our 2025 Annual Fund Drive asking for your generous support.

Please note that with your assistance, we have achieved a significant number of operational goals which have included:

• Apparatus Replacement with two new fire trucks and a brush truck within the past two years;

• Firefighter Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Replacement – 41 sets of firefighter turnout gear or PPE acquired;

• Hurst Jaws of Life Equipment Updated with acquisition of devices for new apparatus; and

• Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) device replacement within all apparatus.

All property and business owners should be receiving their fund drive solicitations in the mail during the month of August.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company greatly acknowledges and appreciates the generosities of our residents and people that we serve and protect within our immediate fire district.  We thank you for your continued cooperation and support.
