TRAFFIC ALERT - New Traffic Pattern with Daytime Lane Closures on Route 5 (Indian Mission Road) at Harmons Hill Road/Phillips Branch Road Intersection as roadway is converted to ALL Way Stop Intersection

The Delaware Department of Transportation's (DelDOT) Traffic Signal Construction Section in conjunction with Kriss Contracting are working at the intersection of Route 5/Indian Mission Road at Harmons Hill Road and Phillips Branch Road. The work will involve converting the Route 5 approaches to an All-Way Stop Control at the intersection. The work will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, November 6 and end at 3 p.m. on Thursday, December 31, 2020, pending weather.

Daytime intermittent lane and shoulder closures northbound/southbound AND westbound/eastbound will occur from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on weekdays.

Flaggers will be on-site to direct motorists through the intersection.

Motorists should drive with caution and slow down in work zones.
