October is National Fire Prevention Month, with the national theme “Charge Into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower,” focusing on lithium?ion battery safety.
National Fire Prevention Month is observed across the United States every October. It expands the messaging of NFPA’s Fire Prevention Week into a full month of public education, drills, and safety outreach.
Indian River will participant in numerous public safety, public awareness with fire prevention and fire safety information dissemination throughout the month.
This year’s national theme is “Charge Into Fire Safety: Safe Charging Is a Superpower.”
This theme highlights safe charging habits for lithium?ion battery–powered devices, including phones, e?bikes, scooters, tools, and toys.
