Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential – McArthur Lane – Patriots Glen

Location: 16035 McArthur Lane, 19966

On Monday morning, September 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic alarm notification in a residential structure in the Patriots Glen development off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a living room smoke detector activation.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.  Tower 80 remained at the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crews coordinated an exterior and interior evaluation of the residential property.  It was identified to be faulty detectors and reviewed with the residential occupants

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their quarters upon compilation of their assignments.
