Nature: Indian River – Station #1 Interior Interior Face Lift
Location: Station #1 – Oak Orchard Facility
Over the past weeks, Indian River’s Station #1 has been undergoing some interior renovations and painting alterations based upon a previous silicone-based paint application failing miserably. The latex and silicone paint applications did not mix well. Therefore, the vast majority of the interior facility is undergoing a significant transition with the complete grinding off of all previous paint layers before applying an appropriate primer as significant paint preparation efforts are pursued to ensure full adherence.
The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company is extremely appreciative of the painting contractor (Intrepid Custom Painting, LLC.) during this exhaustive approach towards resolution of these concerns.
We are extremely thankful for your community’s support and understanding during this time period.
