Nature: Stars & Stripes on the Nanticoke River – Marine Unit Assist

Location: Nanticoke River - Seaford, DE 

On Saturday, July 18^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Seaford Fire Department and the Downtown Seaford Association which hosted the community celebration, "Stars and Stripes on the Nanticoke River," on Saturday, July 18, 2026, celebrating America's 250th Anniversary on High Street and many mutual aid fire companies provided marine unit and standby assistance to the Seaford Fire Department.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided a marine unit and crew to offer assistance where needed during the event. 

The event featured the following details:

• Time: Noon to 9:00 PM

• Location: High Street, downtown Seaford

• Key Activities: The signature Nanticoke River Float-In, food trucks, craft vendors, games, and a dunking booth.

• Entertainment: Live music throughout the day
