Nature: Electrical Hazard

Location: 32975 Shoppes At Long Neck, 19966

On Sunday, July 12^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard at the Lingo Creek Apartments off Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be an electrical hazard involving a downed utility light pole within the residential apartment complex.

Emergency response units included Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included identification and notification of the respective utility service provider with pole identified numbers, and coordinated off the designated area.

It appears that a utility light pole fell within the residential community and was still illuminated.
