Nature: Brush Fire

Location: Branch Rd and Alderwood Loop, 19966

On Sunday morning, June 21^st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an outside / brush fire incident on Branch Road and Alderwood Loop near the entrance to the Seabrook Development off Autumn Road.   It was reported to be a small brush fire in the wooded area.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included fire suppression activities.

Upon arrival of emergency response units, it was identified to be an area within the wooded area that was burning. The entire area was saturated to prevent further concern.

All emergency response units were allowed to return to their respective quarters upon completion of their assignments.
