Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: 26500 Victorias Landing Rd , 19966

On Wednesday afternoon, June 17^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway near Victoria’s Landing.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be a two vehicle accident.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as Deputy 80 and the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, patient stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and overall incident mitigation efforts.

It appears that a gray Toyota RAV4 and a silver Subaru Crosstrek collided at intersection in front of the new Chase Bank causing injury and damage.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
