Nature: Brush Fire

Location: 34098 Harvard Ave, Carillon Woods

On Friday evening, June 5^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a brush fire incident on Harvard Avenue in the Carillon Woods Apartment Complex.  It was reported to a be tree in the flower beds was on fire.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80-15 and Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80 and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included suppression and saturation of the flower beds. It was estimated to be appproximately a 1ft. Round area smoldering.

After assignment completions all fire company personnel and emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
