Nature: AFA – Residential Structure

Location: 24435 Putters Dr The Peninsula, DE 19966

On Saturday evening, May 23rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding on Putter Drive in the Peninsula development off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported as an automatic fire alarm.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial incident size up and discussion with the residential occupants.

The incident was immediately identified as a culinary mishap with all emergency response apparatus being returned to their respective stations.
