Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential

City: Oak Meadows

On Wednesday afternoon, April 15th, the Indian River (80) Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident within a residential structure on Oak Meadows Drive in the Oak Meadows development.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm activation in a single- family residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Taner 80 from the Oak Orchard location and Engine 80 from the Long Neck area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response units from Indian River provided an exterior and interior evaluation and identified issues with the devices.

Upon confirmation, all apparatus units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
