Nature: Automatic Fire Alarms – Residential

Location: 29517 Merganser Ct Peninsula Lakes, DE 19966

On Thursday morning, April 9th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident within a residential structure on Merganser Court in the Peninsula Lakes development.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm activation in a single family residential structure.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 and Engine 80 as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response units from Indian River were notified while responding from firefighters on location that this was a culinary mishap and occupants wishing to cancel.

Upon confirmation with personnel on location, all apparatus units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
