Nature: Electrical Hazard

Location: 26495 Bay Farm Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Wednesday morning, February 25^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard on Bay Farm Road between Sandpiper Drive and School Lane.  It was reported to be an electrical line fallen across yard and driveway.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crews were assigned to evaluate and identify concern.

It was determined that the wire down was a cable line and not a power line.  All notifications to the appropriate entities were coordinated by the Sussex County Emergency Operations Center.

All units were permitted to return to the respective quarters.
