On Tuesday evening, February 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential building on Ambling Way in the Peninsula development off Bay Farm Road.  It was reported to be an automatic fire alarm sounding based upon a waterflow / sprinkler issues.  

Emergency response units from Indian River included Chief 80 from the Oak Orchard facility. 

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior evaluation and initial interior evaluation discussing with the building occupants at the residential structure.

It was determined that a busted pipe was directly associated with the incident. Assistance was requested to shut the alarm off with request to have the water shut off to the residential structure to allow for applicable repair and maintenance.

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
