Nature: Alarms - Residential (Single) - Smoke detector

On Wednesday evening, January 7th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential structure on Pine Drive in the Mariner’s Cove development off Long Neck Road.  It was reported to be a hallway smoke detector activation.

Emergency response crews were cancelled after proper password was provided and the persons on scene did not desire a fire department response.

All emergency response apparatus was authorized to return to their respective quarters.
