Story

Ladder 80 is a 1990 Pierce Lance 105’ ladder truck with an 8 man cab; 8V92 Detroit diesel engine, automatic transmission, 12 kw generator, Whelen emergency light packages, automatic nozzles at tip of ladder; 8 – 500 watt quartz lights; stokes baskets, ventilation fans; assortments of hand tools at tip of ladder; assortment of ground ladders ranging from 14’ to 45’.

Ladder 80 is housed and responds from our Oak Orchard facility.

This Pierce Ladder truck replaces the 1984 American LaFrance Ladder truck.

This Pierce Ladder truck was originally known as Ladder 79 and served the Doylestown Fire Company Station #1 in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.  It was acquired and retro-fitted for the Indian River Vol. Fire Co., Inc. during Calendar Year 2010

The Ladder 80 graphics and lettering was completely designed and installed by Rogers Graphics in Milton, Delaware.

This Pierce Ladder truck was sold "AS IS" on March 1, 2021 to the Crisfield Volunteer Fire Department.
