Saturday August, 27 2011 @ 4 p.m. Nature: National Guard Assists Storm Preparation Measures Continue @ Indian River On Saturday, August 27th, Indian River continued with its storm preparation initiatives which included arrival of the Delaware National Guard manpower resources, HUMVEE units and UTMV type vehicle. Tasks include monitoring and remaining aware of various storm conditions, teleconferencing, and fire district analysis with constant situational awareness of the inland bays and local wateways. Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the various preparation initiatives.
