Wednesday July, 29 2015 @ 18:30 Nature: Firefighter Training – Marine Unit Awareness Location: Massey’s Landing On Wednesday evening, July 29th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company conducted various training exercises on the water and in the marina areas. The department’s Water Rescue Personnel developed various training objectives to enhance awareness and familiarize other personnel with marine unit operations. The event hosted vessel trailing and staging, vessel launching, docking, and general operations of marine units as well as equipment familiarization and purposes. The event was held at the Massey’s Landing Public Boat in Long Neck. Illustrated herewith are various photographs taken during the exercises. |
