Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: Long Neck Rd and School Lane Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday evening, March 22^nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road at the School Lane intersection.  It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.  As response units included the Delaware State Fire Police, the local emergency medical services provider, and the Delaware State Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, traffic control, assistance with patient stabilization if needed.

It appears that the two-vehicle collided causing damage to both passenger sides of the respective vehicle.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.

The Delaware State Fire Police providing traffic control assistance for the duration of the incident.
