Nature: Vehicle Accident w/Medics

Location: Mount Joy Rd and Cannon Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Friday afternoon, November 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on Mount Joy Road near Cannon Road.  It was reported to be a single vehicle rollover.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-1 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.  Additional ancillary alerts included the Sussex County Paramedics and the local EMS provider.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and overall incident mitigation.

It appears that a gray Nissan Altima was traveling on Mount Joy Road and lost control, traveling off the roadway and overturning.  All occupants refused medical attention.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.
