Nature: Washdown (Fuel Spill)

Location: Ridgewood Rd and Taylor Dr., Millsboro, DE 19966

On Tuesday morning, February 20^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a small fuel spill or vehicle fluid spill at or near the intersection of Taylor Drive and Ridgewood Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine #80-3 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included vehicle stabilization with debris and fluid recovery.  Tanker 80 was cancelled while enroute to the incident location.

It appears that silver Chrysler convertible ran over a speed bump causing the fuel or fluid to leak onto the roadway surface.
