Indian River recognizes the Community Church of Oak Orchard for historic mileage – 50th Anniversary

On Sunday morning, July 26th, many parishers and members of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company attended the Community Church of Oak Orchard to celebrate, praise and worship.

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company joined together to acknowledge the heartfelt heritage of the Community Church of Oak Orchard that has been laid before us and to recognize the community servants and patrons that made these events possible and the endless devotion and dedication for the fire company chaplains of Rev. Silas Dukes and Rev. Allen Miller we expressed our gratitiude and said “thank you!”

The Community Church of Oak Orchard celebrated a monumental mileage in its heritage and highlighted its 50th Anniversary.

In Oak Orchard, July 26th was about honoring our Lord and Savior, but recognizing the work his servants have completed and we joined together to express appreciation and acknowledgement of their visions and contributions to this community and thie facility known as the Community Church of Oak Orchard.

According to 1 Corinthians 3:9 “For we are laborers together with God; ye are God’s husbandry, ye are God’s building” and so we built an everlasting structure that is more than a building – it is a foundation of strength, wisdom, and spiritual light – it is our rock, our foundation, for which this church was built upon.

As we choose to celebrate our church’s anniversary we, praised and worshiped, and the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company, recognized the partnerships that these two entities have formed and acknowledged the work of our fire company chaplains by saying "thank you!"

Together, we understood that yesterday is remembered and tomorrow is praised by all of us. May God Bless you!
