Nature: Fire Alarm Sounding - Multi Residential Structure - Riverside Apartments

On Wednesday, October 14th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a multi-story residential structure fire alarm sounding on Riverside Plaza Drive off Oak Orchard Road.  It was reported to be an alarm sounding in an adjacent apartment for approximately 2 hours with no corrective action. 

Emergency response units included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard area and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included a coordinated exterior and interior evaluation of the residential property.  The issues were identified to the building management personnel for corrective action. 

All emergency response apparatus were authorized to return to their quarters upon compilation of their assignments.
