Nature: Electrical Hazard
Address: Bay Blvd and Redwing Lane , 19966

On Saturday morning, September 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard on Bay Blvd at Redwing Lane in the Rehoboth Shores development off Long Neck Road.  This was a second alarm within the Indian River Fire District.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Utility 80-14 from the Oak Orchard facility.

Emergency response crews identified and evaluated the concern as well as reporting the incident to the utility service provider - Delaware Electric Cooperative. 

The incident was an electrical box under water and smoking.  

All emergency response units were permitted to return to their respective facilities to assist with other pending incident responses.
