Nature: Wires Down/Arcing

On Wednesday, September 23rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard involving a wires down or low hanging issue in the designated area.  It was reported to low hanging wire in the area of the entrance to the River Winds development.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments were to identify and locate the electrical wire issues in the designated area. 

First responder personnel evaluated the area in search of the designated concerns.

All apparatus were authorized to return to their respective stations.
