Nature: Automatic Crash Notification – John J. Williams Hwy.

Address: Hollymount Rd and John J Williams Hwy., 19966

On Wednesday evening, September 16th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic crash notification on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Hollymount Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be an automatic crash notification in the designated area.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Deputy Chief 80 from the Long Neck area as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were cancelled and allowed to remain in their respective station after a mobile device was founding laying the roadway in the designated area.  The mobile device was turned over to the Delaware State Police.

All emergency response units were authorized to cancel and return to their respective quarters.
