Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm Sounding – Commercial – Multi Residential Structure – Carillon Woods

Location: 34024 Harvard Av, 19966

On Sunday evening, September 13^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for multi-residential automatic fire alarm sounding the Carillon Woods Apartments on Harvard Avenue.  It was reported to be fire alarms sounding and water leaking in apartment 2302.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an exterior and interior evaluation of the residential complex.

It was identified as a water leak from the apartment above causing the area of concern.

The facility management operations were apprised of the concern and was required to initiate a corrective action plan to mitigate the situation.

Emergency response personnel were cleared to return to their designated facility after assignments were completed.
