On Saturday, September 5^th, the Duty Officer from the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was requested for a citizen assist incident with a persistent smoke detector activation. 

The duty officer response unit from Indian River included a fire line officer responding to assist the resident with the smoke detector concerns.

The specific assistance was coordinated and the issue was resolved.
