Nature: Automatic Crash Notification – Long Neck Road

Address: Long Neck Road – On the curve towards Massey’s Landing

On Saturday, September 5^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic crash notification on Long Neck Road near the sharp curve heading towards Massey’s Landing.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be an automatic crash notification on Long Neck Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included a fire line officer responding from his residence in the area and found a cell phone laying on the shoulder of the road.

Emergency response crews were cancelled and allowed to remain in their respective station.

The Delaware State Police retrieved the cell phone from the fire company personnel.
