Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential Structure

On Saturday evening, September 1st, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential location on Greythorne Lane in the Seabrook development off Autumn Road.  It was reported to be a Zone 7 – automatic fire alarm.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews arrived and identified a single family residential structure with nothing evident from the exterior structure. A second callback was received with proper passcode wishing to cancel.  Tower 80 was cancelled and Engine 80 responded to the incident location.

All emergency response units were authorized to cancel and return to their respective stations.
