Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

On Wednesday evening, August 26th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a carbon monoxide detector on Woodlyn Road in the Woodlyn Estates development off Bay Farm Road. It was reported that the CO alarm is beeping even after battery replacement.
Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility.
Emergency response crews coordinated an exterior evaluation and commenced with an interior evaluation with gas meter readings as well.
It was determined to be a faulty detector with the residential occupants being notified accordingly.
