Nature: Vehicle Accident

Address: John J Williams Hwy and Layton Davis Road, 19966

Early Monday morning, August 24^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Williams Highway in the vicinity of Layton Davis Road.  Additional emergency alerts included the Mid Sussex Rescue Squad.  It was reported to be a single vehicle crash with airbag deployment and unknown if vehicle was occupied.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews were notified that this was possibly was the same vehicle from an earlier accident that had not been properly removed from the incident.  

All emergency response units were authorized to cancel and return to their respective stations.
