Nature:  Automatic Fire Alarm – Residential – Greythorne Lane - Seabrook

Location: 20285 Greythorne Lane , 19966

On Saturday evening, August 22^nd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm sounding at a residential location on Greythorne Lane in the Seabrook development off Autumn Road.  It was reported to be a Zone 7 – automatic fire alarm.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews arrived and identified a single family residential structure with the resident outside identifying a false alarm with proper password. 

All emergency response units were authorized to cancel and return to their respective stations.
