Nature: Automatic Fire Alarm – Commercial Structure – Holly Lake Campground Store

On Monday morning, August 10^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm incident at the Holly Lakes Campsite General Facility off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a smoke detector in the dining room.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

It was identified as a culinary mishap in the kitchen area.

All units were authorized to return or remain in quarters.
