Nature: Gas Leak

On Monday July 27^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a gas leak incident on River Road between Crepe Myrtle Drive and Apache Avenue.  It was reported to be a gas tank leaking.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crews performed an evaluation and monitoring of the situation.  The tank was already shut off and the utility service provider was already notified and enroute to the incident location.

After evaluation and discussion with the property owner, the incident was placed under control pending arrival of the utility service provider.

All emergency response units were authorized to remain or return to their respective quarters.
