Friday July, 3 2026Nature: Fireworks Standby – Paradise Grill – Pot Nets BaysideLocation: Long NeckOn Friday, July 3rd, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company provided designated standby crews for firework displays at Paradise Grill and well as traffic control assistance on Long Neck Road. These assignments included fully staffed apparatus from Indian River (80) with Rescue 80, Engine 80, Brush 80, and Traffic Control 80 as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.Specific unit was assignment included the crews to facilitate incendiary safety resources, fire suppression standby crews and other units were assigned to provide traffic control for departing patrons and guests as well as fire prevention measures.There was one instance for fire suppression at or near launch point.Illustrated herewith are various photographs of the event's activities.Indian River hereby expresses its appreciation to Paradise Grill for hosting such event as well as the Pot Nets Security for their assistance. |
