Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector

Location: 24769 Shoreline Dr, 19966

On Saturday evening, June 20^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a CO detector activation as well as smoke detector alerts on Shoreline Drive in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road. It was reported that the detectors were going off for an unknown reason. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crew assignments included an initial size up task, exterior and interior evaluation with gas meter detectors as well as an overall evaluation.

The issue was identified as a malfunctioning detector. 

After discussion with the property occupants all emergency apparatus were unauthorized to return to their respective stations.
