Nature: AFA Sounding – Residential

Location: 35465 Knoll Way Mariners Cove, DE 19966

On Thursday, June 4th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was were alerted for an alarm sounding incident on Knoll Way in the Mariner’s Cove development off Long Neck Road.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility.

Emergency response crews completed an initial 360 exterior evaluation and commenced additional external reviews and could identify no visible issues within the residential structure and did not see anything out of the ordinary.  The incident was called in by the Community Neighborhood Watch personnel.

The alarm sounding was not a fire or medical related incident. 

The incident was placed under control and all units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
