Nature: Vehicle Accident

On Saturday evening, May 9^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company and Mid Sussex Rescue Squad were alerted for a vehicle accident on Long Neck Road in the vicinity of the Seaside Fish House.  It was reported to be a two-vehicle collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Squad 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization where needed, vehicle stabilization where needed, traffic control, fluid and debris recovery and overall incident mitigation efforts.

It appears that a gold Toyota Camy and black Ford Edge collided causing left front end damage to both vehicles.

The Delaware State Fire Police assisted with traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
