Nature: Mother's Day Flower and Bake Sale.

On Saturday, May 9th, the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company commenced with hosting their Annual Mother's Day Flower and Bake Sale.  The event started at 8 a.

• Event Schedule:

  • Saturday, May 9, 2026: 8:00 AM until sold out.

• Items for Sale:

  • Spring Flowers: A variety of seasonal plants including geraniums, gerber daisies, African violets, hyacinths, tulips, daffodils, and lilies.

  • Baked Goods: Assorted homemade treats from the bake sale.

• Location & Details:

  • Indian River Station #2 on Banks Road (behind Palmer's Shopping Center).

  • Accessibility: Both walk-ins and drive-ups are welcome.

  • Proceeds: All funds raised directly benefit the Auxiliary of the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company.

Fire Prevention & Information Booth:  A variety of information, smoke detectors, recreational materials, etc.

The sales and activity has been exceptional with flowers and merchandise available.

There’s nothing quite like a community coming together for treats and blooms to kick off the season.
