Nature: Automatic Crash Notification – Upgraded Traffic Collision w/Injuries – Fire Police Assist

On Saturday morning, April 25^th, the Delaware State Fire Police assigned to the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company assisted the Millsboro Volunteer Fire Company with an traffic accident on Harbeson Road at the Hurdle Ditch / Cool Spring Road intersection.  The incident was originally alerted as an Automatic Crash Notification for the Millsboro Fire Company and then upgraded to the traffic accident with injuries and requesting additional fire police. It was reported to be a four-vehicle accident at the location.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Traffic Control 80 from the immediate area.

Traffic control assistance was tendered with the closure of the impacted roadway during the mitigation phase of the incident.
