Nature: Dine to Donate Event

The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company expresses its gratitude and appreciation to the community members who participated with the Dine to Donate Event on April 9^th as well as the Texas Roadhouse for sponsoring such and event.

The fundraiser took place at the Texas Roadhouse in Millsboro, Delaware, from 3 PM to 9 PM. During the event, the restaurant donated 10% of total food purchases from patrons who identified themselves as supporters of the fire company.

Our Fire Prevention Cohort was present to offer fire preventions information and publications as well as Auxiliary Members that offered Easter Candy and most of all, Patches our Fire Prevention Dog was present for interaction with the children and restaurant patrons.

Event Highlights:

• Purpose: Proceeds from the event directly benefit Indian River's mission to support first responders and maintain community safety.

• Community Impact: The fire company noted that "every meal makes a difference," highlighting the importance of the community coming together to support local volunteer efforts.

• Ongoing Support: This fundraiser is part of a broader series of community-focused events
