Nature: Electrical Hazard – Long Neck Road & Pot Nets Road

On Monday evening, March 16^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an electrical hazard incident near the intersection of Long Neck Road and Pot Nets Road near the entrance to Pot Nets Bayside.  It was reported to be an electrical hazard with sparks coming from a utility pole shooting into the road. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Brush 80 and Traffic Control 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response units were advised of the incident synopsis while traveling to the incident location and that the respective utility supply company was notified and responding with no estimated time of arrival.

The emergency response units evaluated and monitored the situation pending arrival of the utility supplies company.
