Nature: Smoke Investigation

On Tuesday afternoon, November 25th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a smoke investigation issue on West Penn Court in the Captains Grant development off Oak Orchard Road.  It was reported that the backyard seems to be smoking. 

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Brush 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police. 

Emergency response crews evaluated the area and identified an area of concern, discussed with the occupants which acquiesced with fire suppression initiatives.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to their respective quarters.
