Nature: Carbon Monoxide Detector
Location: 27398 Dockside Ct Stonewater Creek, DE 19966

On Wednesday, November 19th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm (AFA) and carbon monoxide detector activation on Dockside Court in the Stonewater Creek development off Indian Mission Road. It was reported to be a residential AFA and carbon monoxide incident involving both residential alarm activations.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tanker 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews coordinated an initial discussion with the property occupants and identified that the batteries were being changed. 

There were not any issues and all emergency response units were authorized to return to its respective quarters.
