On Monday, November 10th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for an automatic fire alarm (AFA) on McArthur Lane in the Patriots Glen development off John J. Williams Highway.  It was reported to be a residential AFA incident involving possibility carbon monoxide detectors and residential smoke detectors sounding and will not stop.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Tower 80 from the Oak Orchard facility and Engine 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crews coordinated an exterior and interior evaluation with meter readings and advised the owners to have their systems evaluated.  There were not any readings and/or issues determined within the residential structure.

All emergency response units were authorized to return to its respective quarters.
