Nature: Vehicle Accident

Location: John J Williams Hwy and Mount Joy Rd Millsboro, DE 19966

On Sunday morning, November 9^th, the Indian River Volunteer Fire Company was alerted for a vehicle accident on John J. Wiliams Highway approaching Mount Joy Road.  It was reported to be two vehicle rear end type collision.

Emergency response units from Indian River included Rescue 80 from the Oak Orchard facility, Squad 80 and Chief 80 from the Long Neck facility as well as the Delaware State Fire Police.

Emergency response crew assignments included patient stabilization where needed, vehicle stabilization, fluid and debris recovery, traffic control and overall incident mitigation efforts.

It appears that a dark gray Honda Accord sedan struck the rear of white Saturn station wagon approaching the intersection of John J. Williams Highway and Mount Joy Road. 

The Delaware State Fire Police coordinated traffic control for the duration of the incident.

The Delaware State Police are investigating.
